Drawing comparisons to some of the best names in contemporary pop like Tate McRae, Raye, and Mimi Webb, Olivia’s confidence in her track’s commercial potential is well-founded.

Olivia Cox’s musical journey began almost as soon as she could speak. At just 24 years old, the singer-songwriter has already developed a unique sound, crafting songs on her guitar and in studios worldwide. From Farmville to Austin: The Resilient Journey of Jay Sprouse and His Long-Awaited EP Featuring "Innocent Harmony"

In a remarkable tale of passion and perseverance, Jay Sprouse announces the release of his long-awaited EP, featuring the standout track "Innocent Harmony (Take Me Away)." This collection of songs recorded 15 years ago, is set to captivate listeners with its raw emotion and heartfelt storytelling.

In May 2008, during a time of joblessness and economic uncertainty, Jay Sprouse found inspiration in an unlikely source—a Tom Petty film, “Running Down a Dream.” With no prior musical training, this inspiration led Jay to purchase a guitar and harmonica. He relocated to a small apartment in Farmville, VA, where he dedicated 14-16 hours a day to mastering these instruments. Rather than playing existing songs, Jay found immense joy in creating original melodies, allowing his unique voice to take shape.

By the fall of 2009, after countless hours of practice and dedication, Jay recorded four original songs with friends. These tracks aired on a local Farmville radio station but were never officially released. Despite limited recording resources, Jay always envisioned a full band sound. This vision came to life in Austin, TX, where he teamed up with two talented musicians and recorded at The Bubble Recording Studio over three magical days.

Now, 15 years later, Jay believes these songs are too good to remain unheard. With the release of his EP, listeners finally have the opportunity to experience the culmination of Jay's unwavering dedication and passion for music. The EP is now available across all major streaming platforms, with "Innocent Harmony (Take Me Away)" poised to resonate deeply with audiences.

The standout track, "Innocent Harmony," encapsulates the essence of Jay Sprouse's musical journey. Its raw emotion and heartfelt lyrics reflect the struggles and triumphs Jay experienced over the past decade and a half. The song’s harmonious blend of guitar and harmonica evokes a sense of nostalgia and longing, while its melody invites listeners to lose themselves in the music.

Jay Sprouse's story is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance. From a jobless, musically untrained individual inspired by a Tom Petty film, to a self-taught musician who dedicated thousands of hours to mastering his craft, Jay's journey is nothing short of inspirational. His long-awaited EP is not just a collection of songs, but a celebration of the unyielding spirit that defines his musical career.

As Jay himself says, these songs are too good to remain unheard. The release of his EP, featuring "Innocent Harmony (Take Me Away)," marks the beginning of a new chapter in his musical journey. It's a chapter that promises to captivate listeners and leave a lasting impact on the world of music. So, tune in, listen, and let Jay Sprouse take you away with "Innocent Harmony."

FAKE BEARS: Rockin' the Alt Pop Scene with "Fake Bears...but ROCK!!!1!11!!1!!"

Meet EJ, the creative force behind Fake Bears, an alt-pop music project that's making waves with its latest release, Fake Bears...but ROCK!!!1!11!!1!!. This EP marks a bold departure from Fake Bears' usual sound, diving headfirst into the realms of emo and pop-punk rock.

EJ's venture into rock isn't a random experiment—it's a heartfelt return to his musical roots. Growing up, he dreamed of making music that resonated with the pop-punk and emo influences of his youth. Although he lacked the skills and resources in high school and college, EJ now possesses the experience and capability to bring those early dreams to fruition.

Uninterested: This song tells the story of Sara, a girl who ghosted EJ after they talked extensively. It captures the chaos and frustration of wanting a clear rejection rather than being ghosted. Notably, this track features a keytar solo, showcasing EJ's unique musical style.

The EP was recorded in two main locations: Ian Matthews' condo, where guitars, bass, drums, and lead vocals were laid down, and EJ's home studio, affectionately called The Cat Cave, where keys and synths were recorded. Sage Saint John contributed background vocals, adding an extra layer of depth to the tracks.

One of the highlights of the recording was the inclusion of keytar solos in rock songs. "Uninterested" features a standout keytar solo, and "Ascend...but ROCK!!!1!11!!1!!" includes a synchronized solo with both guitar and keytar, creating a unique and energetic sound.

As the bar manager at Tuning Fork in Studio City, EJ frequently performs at the venue, often to packed audiences. His live shows are high-energy and engaging, reflecting the vibrant spirit of his music. An interesting tidbit about EJ's music is the song "middle of the night," written for his three beloved cats, Carly, Lillie, and Lana.

He stays true to his musical passions, creating the music he's always wanted to make. Fake Bears...but ROCK!!!1!11!!1!! is a testament to EJ's dedication and love for music, blending his alt-pop roots with the rock sounds he grew up on. Crank up the volume and experience the high-energy, catchy, and fun sounds of Fake Bears' latest EP. It's a musical journey that's as nostalgic as it is fresh, and EJ is excited to share it with the world.
